MVA Driver Improvement Program
Assigned to complete the Maryland Driver Improvement Program by the Motor Vehicle Administration is in response to the accumulation of points on your driving record 5,6 or 7 points, a requirement imposed by a District Court Judge, or a requirement imposed by a MVA Administrative Law Judge. Failure to complete the program could result in suspension or revocation of your driver’s license.
Course Overview
- Define points and laws pertaining to your driving record.
- Describe unsafe or hazardous driving behaviors.
- Define safe driving.
- Evaluate your own driving habits to see how you can improve.
- Choose to be safe, every time, every trip.
Successful Completion
Score 80% or better on the DIP written exam after classroom attendance.
